Tories vote against transparency & accountability on SKDC

At the full council meeting on 8th September, the SKDC Labour group put forward a motion calling for time to be set aside at full council meetings to let the elected members question the cabinet. This is done at county council and national government level, but not at district level. Despite compelling arguments to make the change, the Tory whip ensured that the entire conservative group on the council voted against the motion. The vote was a recorded one, so you will be able to see who voted against this. We will post a link when it is available.
